About

This site isn’t about anything in particular.  It doesn’t have a theme, an angle, a gimmick, or a goal.  It’s not a chronology or a solicitation.  Readers are welcome, but participants aren’t required.  There’s nothing that will mark its completion, no task to drive it through the days.  It is simply a collection of pieces, essays, fragments, and photographs.

After an accidental career as a chef, forays into wine, years of writing screenplays, working on short films, then expanding into short fiction, the essays here are something new for me.  Being a writer in New York, I needed a place of my own, a gallery to play with thoughts and images.  I also need a place where you can find them.  These are thoughts expressed outward, built and woven into impressions, and every person may see them differently.  That’s the beauty of it!  So, welcome and thank you.
